Our Activities
We have a range of activities available to service members of our congregation and other people. All are welcome to join in with us.
Sunday Service
Our main service is on Sundays at 9am, after which we meet for a “cuppa” and a chat.
Our worship is family oriented and members of our congregation actively participate in the service each week. We look forward to welcoming you if you visit us , or as regular attendees.
Pastoral Care
We take pastoral care for our congregation members, and others, seriously.
Our Pastoral Care Committee meets every Monday morning to pray and discuss how other support can be offered.
Bible Study Group
We have a Ladies Know Your Bible group that meets Wednesdays at 1.15pm during school terms. New members are very welcome.
Prayer Groups
This is a growing area of ministry and currently we meet online Friday nights from 7pm to 8pm, Sunday mornings before worship, and Sunday evenings from 7pm to 8pm.
New members are most welcome at all groups.
Food Pantry
We maintain through donations a food pantry which is stocked with non-perishables from which people needing support can access.
Library
We have a library available for people to access, which is maintained by members of our congregation.
Senior Connections
We currently have two activities that are aimed to provide for the more senior members of our community.
Senior Connections Worship and Morning Tea held 4 times during the year celebrating Easter, Mother’s day, Father’s day and Christmas.
Millies Cafe
Millies cafe is a social morning held 3 times a year where family can gather with reidents from Bluecare Mt Louisa and otehr community groups for morning tea and entertainment. For more information contact us on [email protected]
Ukes Uniting
Ukes Uniting is our weekly Ukulele group which meets each Wednesday mornings at 9:30am. Bring your own uke and join in. All levels of ability are welcome. For more information contact us on [email protected]
Community Garden
We are in the process of establishing a Community Garden at the North end of our property.
At present, one of our congregation family’s is growing Taro and Cassava.
Social Games Evenings
Held from time to time on a Saturday evening from 6 – 8pm. This is a very informal group who gather to play games (board games and card games mostly). You are welcome to join us and introduce us to a game or playing one that we have on hand. Even bring along a group and enjoy the evening with game friendly people. Everyone brings there own table snacks to share, tea and coffee is provided and there is a drinks cabinet with soft drink and water for sale. For more information contact us on [email protected]
Sunday Kids
During school terms we have Sunday Kids for children during our worship time from the ages of 4 up. During School Holiday times activities are provided for children within the worship space.
Creative Connections
Craft Group
We have a small craft group that meets weekly in a private home. We bring our own craft projects and enjoy a time of creativity, conversation and a cuppa. For more information contact us on [email protected]
‘Hands and Hearts’ Workshops
We also hold throughout the year ‘Hands and Hearts’ Workshops for a small cost a specific craft is taught with most or all materials provided along with morning tea. These are held on a Saturday morning 4 times during the year. For more information contact us on [email protected]
Junk Journal Group
The JunkJournal Group meets monthly on the second Saturday of the month from 9am to 12:00pm to work on individual Jpurnals and differnt projects to include in the journals. Cost $5 includes materials and morning tea. For more information contact Raelene on [email protected]
